The ornament itself is made of paper mâché and is painted black (if you would like me to paint it a different color please just notate that in the personalization box or the buyer's notes to seller section).
The real birch wood sheets are glued on to the ornament and have the personalization drawn on by hand with a wood burner. The edges are also burnt for a rustic look and feel to the ornament.
