I will not paint the rim of the lid on the inside that touches your utensils! I will put sealer on the top of the lid to prevent the paint from chipping off if hit by spoons/utensils etc.
~CARE INSTRUCTIONS~
As these are hand painted and are to have a rustic appearance I do not use a sealer on the jars. Therefore the paint on the jars can get chipped if you rubbed it against something sharp. If you would like me to add a sealer it will make the jars shiny but please put that in the notes to seller box.
When cleaning wipe VERY GENTLY with a damp rag to not damage the paint.
I recommend not keeping them right next to where water pools such as by a dish rack as the constant contact with water can cause the paint to loosen off.
If cared for properly your mason jars will look pretty forever!
