The edges of the heart are burned for a more rustic/weathered look. The smaller heart measures 3 3/4 inches long 3 1/2 tall and less than 1/4 inch wide, the larger heart measures 4 1/2 inches long 4 inches tall and less than 1/4 inch wide.

Since this is a natural product each birch wood heart is unique and differs slightly in color, texture and pattern. As this is real birch tree bark there may be some small cracks due to the process of pulling the bark from the tree. Also some hearts may be thicker/thinner than others due to the natural variation/rigidity between each piece of birch bark.
